Peppertree Catering
Peppertree Catering was first established in 2004, as a high end corporate caterer. As we evolved, our menus did also, and we soon became renown for our delectable canapes, and were the preferred caterer for many of Sydney’s Blue Chip Companies, as well as their executives’ own private functions. Fast forward to 2018, and with a few changes of ownership, Peppertree Catering is back with its original owners, and is now based in the beautiful Southern Highlands. While many things have changed, our ethos has not, and we still deliver fresh, creative and tasty food,made and presented by us, with love and care.
We cater to all events; intimate gatherings and private dinners, weddings and engagements, exclusive cocktail parties and corporate events. We cater from Sydney to Taralga, Kangaroo Valley and the Illawarra, and throughout the Southern Highlands.

With 30 years experience in the food industry, there isn’t much that we haven’t seen or done. Completing a first apprenticeship as a butcher (a traditional butcher, not a box opener) then a second apprenticeship as a chef, Wolff has an enormous knowledge of prime meat and cookery techniques, delivering the most mouth-watering and unique meat dishes to your table. With a few awards to our name, we embrace slow cooking, sous vide, smoking, curing and our own handmade smallgoods as part of our offering.
We are passionate and love what we do. We don’t follow trends, but are always inspired to fuse tradition with new techniques. We push boundaries, but certainly don’t cross the line. We believe some flavours shouldn’t be messed with and kept as they should. We make use of the abundance of quality produce the Southern Highlands offers, sourcing the freshest local ingredients.

Frequently Asked
Children under 12 and your vendors are charged at half price. Children under 5 are free.
We can accommodate most dietary requirements, with the majority of our menu gluten free anyway. We can provide menu guidance if required to meet your dietary requirements. Halal and kosher certificates can be provided if required
We will provide a staffing quote once your menu style, bar requirements, start times and numbers are determined. In some circumstances, we will charge an hourly travel fee to reach your destination.
We can assist you in hiring additional equipment your event may require. We have forged relationships with hire companies and can assist in getting the best price on equipment hire, as well as advising any further requirements necessary for your event.
Upon accepting our proposal, we require a $500 deposit. Due to the nature of our business, this is non-refundable if you change your mind. We require full payment 3 weeks prior to your event, when we will also confirm your menu, dietaries and final numbers. Once confirmed, we cannot reduce numbers. The prices quoted within are based on a minimum of 60 people, Monday to Saturday. A surcharge may apply for Sunday and public holiday events.
